Day 3
I woke up at 6 pm in the morning to get ready for the opening of the Johor Premium Oulet. This was the main
purpose of my trip. Malaysia had given me a passport to splurge and I was
planning to use it!
Johor Premium Outlet is the first premium outlet in Southeast Asia. The
upscale outlet shopping center is a haven. With brands such as Adidas, Armani,
Brooks Brothers, Burberry, Canali, Coach, Esprit, Gap, Guess, Lacoste, Michael
Kors, Nike, Oroton, Tralph Lauren, Royal Selangor, Salvatore, Ferragamo,
Timberland, Tommy Hilfiger and many more.
The collection of brands at Johor Premium Outlets to provided myself
with an upscale shopping experience combined with significant savings. I
particularly ran towards to the Oroton store and nearly spent a couple of
$100AUS on leather goods for myself and family. Then skipped my way on Nike to
see if I could purchase a pair of running shoes for a good deal. There were
even a hour lines in front of Burberry and Coach for customer to go in and
purchase expensive handbags.
All my tour guide Elly could do was laugh when she saw my huge grin on
my face when she came to pick me up to take me back to the resort.
